Before you get all nervous, bit torrent is a great tool and can be used as in this for legal reasons, so don't worry. Basically it allows syncing of certain folders across all your devices quickly unlike the cloud which tends to be slow. And it is freeware too.
I think it is still in beta and has a few problems but worth keeping an eye on.
